Regional Offers in Germany / Saver Fares
Deutsche Bahn offers saver fares on long-distance travel within Germany for all customers.
There are two discount fare structures - Spar price 25 and Spar price 50, offering
25% and 50% off standard return fares
Passengers must:
- Travel on a fixed date and time
- Make a return journey to and from the same station
To obtain the Spar price 25, the ticket must be purchased at least three days in advance. It is only valid for return trips. In order to use Spar price 50, travel must be over a weekend. Trips purchased with a savings fare must last at least until the following Sunday, or be same day travel on a Saturday or Sunday. Please note that Spar price tickets are subject to availability.
