If you purchase your luggage ticket by 12:00 hrs , a Hermes driver will collect from you the very next day – directly from your home address or from your office. Our late service enables you to have your luggage collected or delivered from Monday – Friday between 17:00 hrs and 21:00 hrs.
|How do I find out the exact collection / delivery time?|
If we receive your request at least five working days before the proposed collection, Hermes will write to you with a collection time within a four hour window between 08:00 hrs and 18:00 hrs (Mondays to Saturdays).
Otherwise, one working day after you have placed your order, you can telephone Hermes to enquire about the collection time.
|I am not at home at the time when the collection / delivery is scheduled; what can I do?|
You may give an alternative address for your order at any time. Please contact the DB luggage service hotline on +49 180 6 236723 (charges apply).
|Where is my luggage at the moment?|
Enquire about the current status of your luggage at bahn.de/kuriergepaeck under consignment tracking (Sendungsverfolgung).
|How should I pack my luggage?|
Please attach address labels to all pieces of luggage if possible. Skis and cycles must be properly packed. If necessary you can order appropriate packing materials when you purchase your ticket. The Hermes driver will bring the packing materials on the day of collection and will take payment then.
|What do I do if I cancel my trip?|
It is possible to cancel the booking up to 18:00 hrs on the last working day before the agreed collection date at no charge.
