All of the services for your journey on your mobile with the DB Navigator
Frequent travellers will never want to be without it: timetables, arrival times or even ticket bookings directly in your mobile!
The DB Navigator gives you all of the latest important train information and many helpful services. And you only have to install a small programme (approx. 200 KB) on your mobile.
How it works: Go to http://mobile.bahn.de, call up “DB Navigator” and start to download the programme.
The DB Navigator is also available for download over the Internet. You can install it on your mobile using synchronisation software.
This is what the DB Navigator brings to your mobile:
- Store timetables and call them up at any time, even without an Internet connection
- Current arrival times including platform information, on-time forecasts and stops for a connection
- Door-to-door planning of your journey for the whole of Germany, including area maps and detailed directions of how to get to the start location and destination on foot
- Area maps and detailed directions of how to get from the start location and destination on foot
- Destination routing using your mobile’s GPS function
- Mobile ticket and seating reservation
- Many more services such as maps of selected stations, “visual ticker” for future connections and export of a connection to your mobile’s calendar (dependent on the end device)
The current version of the DB Navigator (6.00.15) provides many useful services:
- The connection information is available immediately while the timetable is being calculated in the background
- Application in full screen mode: Use your complete display, e.g. to show maps (activate the full screen mode in the “Hauptmenü” (main menu) of the DB Navigator under “Einstellungen -> Fullscreen” (Settings -> Full screen))
- Blackberry support: If you download the DB Navigator with your Blackberry under mobile.bahn.de, you are automatically provided with a special Blackberry version
