Only the person who books and pays for the ticket can change the details on it. It is possible to change the name on the ticket until shortly before travel.
How to change the details on the ticket:

- Tell the customer agent that you have a group ticket and that it was booked online. It might be helpful to tell the customer agent the German name of the ticket - "Sparpreis Gruppe".
- Say the order number. This is printed on the online ticket, and it is also included in the e-mail you received as booking confirmation.
- Then state the name (first name and surname) and address of the person who you are transferring the ticket to.
- The customer agent changes the relevant details and issues a new ticket by e-mail. You can also use the ticket overview in our website's My Bahn section to call up a ticket.
- Please make sure you only use the new online ticket with the new name when travelling. Our system automatically cancels the original ticket, making it invalid.
