ICE 3neo: for greater comfort in train travel

The ICE 3neo offers numerous innovations for improved comfort, including windows that are permeable to mobile communications to ensure stable reception, and luggage racks with more storage space for your bags. You will find tablet holders and power sockets at all seats in 1st and 2nd class.

The first generation

The era of high-speed services started when the ICE 1 was launched in 1991. The dining car with the "hump" makes it easy to recognise.
The flexible one

The second generation made its debut in 1996. Two trains could be coupled together.
The first train for travelling at 300 km/h

The ICE 3 set a new standard in 2000 by reaching a top speed of 300 km/h.

No additional payment for luggage

You can bring luggage with you without the need to reserve space. Please use the luggage storage facilities on the train.

The ICE's free Wifi network lets you work or surf the net while travelling. The ICE Portal contains information and entertainment options.
On-board restaurant and bistro

Browse the extensive menus in our on-board restaurants or get a snack from the bistro car if you're feeling peckish.
