On ICE/TGV trains between France and Germany, children and grandchildren under 15 years of age travel for free only on the German part of the route when accompanying at least one parent/grandparent who has bought the saver fare Europe ticket (must be entered on ticket). In France they receive a 50% discount on the standard fare for adults.
Information concerning Sweden: Your own children aged 5 and younger travel for free (do not need to be entered on the ticket).
Children and grandchildren under the age of 15 travel for free on the German and Danish parts of the route. On the Swedish part of the route they receive a discount of 85% on the standard fare for adults.
