With the flexible fare of Deutsche Bahn, you can just board the train and get going – travel to the destination of your choice within Germany flexibly at any time. You never have to pay more than 142 euros (2nd class) or 237 euros (1st class) for a single journey.
Use the bahn.com itinerary service to book your flexible fare for any city to city ticket within Germany. Choose the "Flexpreis" in the booking process and off you go!
You want to select and reserve your seat in advance? Reservations are not compulsory on most German trains, but feel free to book a seat in advance!
Spend less money but more quality time with your family
With our flexible fare you can travel within Germany flexibly at any time - even with your family: Children younger than 6 years of age always travel for free and are not required to have a ticket. Children under the age of 15 travel for free if they are accompanied by their (grand-)parents! If your children are traveling on their own, they always receive a 50% discount.

|Ticket:||Applies for a single journey. Outward and return journey can be booked in one session.|
|Detour:||Possible if the point of departure and the destination station do not change. The difference between the flexible fare (if so with BahnCard 25 or BahnCard 50) of the original route and the new route will be calculated. The period of validity stays corresponding to the ticket.|
|Wagon class:||Available for travel in 1st and 2nd class.|
|BahnCard discount/RAILPLUS:||Get an extra 25% or 50% discount with the BahnCard 25 or a BahnCard 50. Travel abroad with a 25% discount (RAILPLUS).|
|Accompanying children:||Children under 6 years of age travel for free.
Children between 6 and 14 years of age travel for free if they are accompanied by their parents. The number of accompanying children has to be specified at the moment of purchase.
|Refunds/Exchange:||Up to one day before the first day of validity: for free.
From the first day of validity: possible for a fee of 17.50 euros.
