How secure is the wifi network on the train?

The wifi network on our trains is a public network, similar to the systems used in hotels or cafes. As with any public network, it is not possible to completely protect communication against interception.
Our wifi system includes a range of security features that make data transfer safer than in similar wifi networks in cafes and other public places. These features include client isolation, which prevents one device in the network from accessing data on another device in the same network. To ensure secure transmission, especially for sensitive data, we recommend that you use a VPN connection and only access https pages.
