Do I need reservations when travelling with an Interrail Pass?

You will need a reservation to travel on many of Europe’s high-speed trains and on all night trains. You cannot travel on these trains without a reservation.

Please also note that a reservation including a supplement is required for high-speed trains between Germany and France and for Eurocity trains between Munich and destinations in Italy.

You can make reservations for almost all European trains up to two months before departure, in some cases up to three months. You can do so at DB sales points and at www.interrail.eu.

The Interrail Pass does not include reservation fees.
